The three founders were brought up with renewable energy knowledge at university and realized the benefits of this sector for Indonesia's future energy. Koenergia started with a simple mindset to "enlightening Indonesia with renewable energy".
Koenergia's journey began in 2017 when one of the founders contributed to developing and building off-grid solar installations for 3 remote islands in Indonesia and helping them create a better life for their people. Koenergia was founded in 2020 during a pandemic and has survived amid regulatory uncertainty in Indonesia.
Since then, the company has contributed to more residential, commercial, and industrial projects to help them reduce energy costs and gas emissions with systems ranging from on-grid, off-grid, hybrid, and solar pump systems. With a track record of more than 100MWp combined experiences, we are specialized in providing solar engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning solutions for projects covering domestic houses, commercial and industrial properties as well as large-scale solar PV plants.
Through our experienced engineer, we also provide 360-degree service providers such as operations and maintenance (O&M) services for solar PV systems, site survey & preliminary design, and detailed engineering design (DED).

HOW DOES IT WORK?
- PV Panel: Converts sunlight into DC electricity
- Solar Inverter: Generates AC power from a DC source input
- Distribution Panel: AC electricity generated from the inverter will be connected to the existing distribution panel in the building and will absorb the energy required by the load
- When the energy produced from solar power is greater than energy consumption, the purchase of energy will be sent directly to the PLN network and counted as energy exports which will reduce the monthly electricity bill
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- PV Panel: Converts sunlight into DC electricity
- Solar Inverter: Generates AC power from a DC source input
- Distribution Panel: : AC electricity generated from the inverter will be connected to the existing distribution panel in the building and will absorb the energy required by the load
- Battery Storage: Excess energy from the Inverter will be stored in the battery and can be used at night
- Other Energy Source: Will be operated when solar power is not available and battery condition is low

- Pump Controller: Generates AC power from a DC source input
- Pump: Moves water from its sources such as a well or surface water to a delivery point
- Storage tank: Stores water when water production is greater than water consumption and can be used at night or when there is no sunlight
